Over the past few years, Blockchain has been touted as a panacea for a number of technology issues and as an enabler for business. As the technology improves, and more people become aware of it, the more problems they think they can solve with it, and the more the hype grows. We believe that this hype stems from several fundamental business problems with collaboration, electronic health records and enterprise resource planning software that underpins the clinical enterprise. In this session, the speakers will discuss the problems they are trying to solve and how they can undertake changes to better prepare our organizations for increased collaboration, patient empowerment and the governance needed to successfully implement collaborative and distributed technologies like Blockchain while improving privacy and security.
