Natalia Martin serves as Deputy Director for Business Operations, National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE), Information Technology Laboratory (ITL), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). NCCoE is a collaborative hub convening experts from industry, academia, and government to work on critical problems in cybersecurity. The NCCoE’s collaborations focus on providing practical guidance to technical, real-world cybersecurity challenges using standards-based, commercially available technologies. Prior to joining NIST, Natalia served as Senior Advisor to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Chief Information Officer (CIO), Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and senior management, and led strategic initiatives to research, analyze and develop new solutions for secure, innovative, cost effective and agile ways to support ongoing digital business transformation that meets FDA public health mission. Prior to that, Natalia served as Systems Engineering Branch Chief for the Extramural Research Administration (eRA), National Institutes of Health’s enterprise grants management system, responsible for management and successful implementation of information technology initiatives across multiple federal agencies.
