How Interconnectivity is Enabling the Future of Patient-Driven Health
What you'll learn
Connected health and remote patient monitoring, combined with interactive patient engagement apps, have a tremendous potential to transform chronic disease management in the hospital setting and beyond. But deploying such programs, and managing the IoT assets they often depend on, can pose a host of challenges at both the provider and the patient level.
In this webinar, we’ll speak with Dr. Mohsen Saidinejad, Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Saidinejad, who is also director of patient experience at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and chair of the Pediatric Committee for the American College of Emergency Physicians, will speak about his clinical and research experience using mobile and connected health tools to provide hospital aftercare for patients who have been discharged from the emergency department. He'll also discuss potential technology strategies to help engage patients with their ongoing chronic care.
