Ms. Cartmell is a proven health tech investor, following a 25-year career building, acquiring, selling and taking companies public. She has served in multiple C-level positions for both public and private companies and has deep expertise in healthcare technology. Under her leadership and guidance, healthcare companies have created and brought to market successful products and services that have led to successful exits.Ms. Cartmell served as the COO of NantHealth, a $1B private equity fund where she built the team and led investments and acquisitions. Before that, Ms. Cartmell was the COO of Personalized Medicine at Abraxis BioScience where she prepared the company for sale and helped negotiate an 8x revenue sale to Celgene for $2.9B. Earlier in her career, she was VP of Healthcare Advanced Programs and Director of Business Development at SAIC where she held both P&L and revenue-generating responsibilities for a $500M healthcare business.Ms. Cartmell serves on the boards of HIMSS North America and the Austin Healthcare Council. She is also a mentor to the United Healthcare Accelerator program. Ms. Cartmell was awarded the John. A Page Outstanding Service Award at HIMSS17 for her leadership in HIMSS and the Healthcare Industry.

As the Managing Director of Women's Health at Springboard Enterprises, a non-profit focused on helping women entrepreneurs scale high-growth startups, Jennifer leads Springboard's efforts in the vertical of women's health innovation. Jennifer is also the Co-Founder of Freeze Health, an informational platform helping women decide if, when and where to seek fertility treatments, including egg freezing and IVF. As the Co-Founder, she has been featured in outlets such as the New York Times, BBC, and the Washington Post.
Jennifer is currently an Advisor on Health Innovation for dotHealth, the official registry of .Health domain names, and previously was an Advisor for the Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator at Boston Children's Hospital. Jennifer has always had a passion for women's health, female entrepreneurship, startups, and health technology. She was the first member of the team that launched .Health domains, and previously directed Business Development at BUILDING.co, a co-working space for growing tech companies.
